1986 Zimmer Quicksilver  For Sale
We are the original owner of this very clean Silver with red Italian Leather interior and wire wheels low mileage, 25,200 miles, extremely unique and rare car, one of only 187 cars made by Zimmer Motorcar. It has a 2.8-liter V6 that fed 140 hp through a three-speed automatic built by Pontiac also used in the Fiero. Quicksilver is rear-wheel drive but don't let the long hood fool you; that's where the spare tire and luggage are stored. Its engine is mid-mounted. This chrome-tipped two-seater was actually the off-duty brainchild of, then-current GM designer, Don Johnson; it was Johnson that successfully pitched the idea for the Quicksilver to Zimmer. Options on this 1986 Zimmer Quicksilver include: A/C, AM/FM radio, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, seat belts, wire wheels, and radial tires. It has had the same California owner since new and been maintained perfectly. No damage history, never been in an accident and no dents or scratches. Clean title in handle. As close to new as a 1988 can be.
