1988 QuickSilver #7139
VIN: 1G2PF1191HP206516
I am pleased to offer this ultra rare Zimmer Quicksilver. If you know of Zimmer, then you likely know about their neo-classical Golden Spirit but the Quicksilver is a rare and little know offering also from Zimmer. The car utilizes a Pontiac Fiero frame and the result is this very unusual 2 seat, 2 door car. This car has been used as a daily driver by the original owner and now has 81,XXX miles on the odometer. Exterior is in very nice shape. Interior shows some wear (see pictures). Only 1 titled owner from new.
VIN# is 1G2PF1191HP206516. Purchased Dec 2014 from original owner and not titled by the current owner so essentially a one owner car (according to the title).
– 1 of 170 built
– 2.7 liter v6
– Automatic trans.
– 81k miles
– White with red interior
– Original floor mats
– Seller will include a nice variety of Quicksilver literature including brochures, Magazine articles, etc.
This is not a show car but is very presentable. There are better and higher priced examples on the market. This car is priced commensurate to it’s condition and mileage. Still ultra rare. You won’t park next to one of these at the next cars and coffee.

Some History:
Zimmer was a short lived company that jumped on the nostalgia bandwagon at the end of the 1970s. In addition to its best-selling flagship model, the Golden Spirit, of which more than 1,500 copies were produced, the Florida-based company also manufactured around 170 examples of the Fiero-based Quicksilver between 1984 and 1988.
With only 170 produced, this neo-classic is certainly rare. Offered by Zimmer Motorcars, this unusual vehicle was constructed on a mid-engine Pontiac Fiero platform and was fully warranted and serviceable through GM dealerships. Custom interiors, dashes, and of course, body work, brought the MSRP of a Zimmer Quicksilver to an eye-raising $48,000, quite a large sum of money in the mid-1980s. The car’s retro styling takes its inspiration from glitzy Lincoln and Cadillac models of the 1970s.
Car is located in West Point, VA.
