"We bought our Zimmer 7-11-2019, from an individual in San Jose, Ca. whose sister owned it. It had Oregon plates on it. We live in Tucson, AZ. We have had the Zimmer in many car shows, It always draws a crowd, and many questions asked. We have driven it to Ottumwa, Iowa to visit my sister. At the time it was up to 12-13 mpg from when we bought it. At that time before major tune up it was getting 7-8 MPG. Everything works now, we have replaced the fuel pump, radiator, hoses, belt, fan, rebuilt 4 barrel carburetor. Repaired air horns and they are loud! Rebuilt sway bar, changed A/C from ref R12 to R134A and we have cold air. Updated head and fog lights, and all other lights, major tune up, plugs, points timing, updated oil and filter. We raised the Recaro driver's seat to accommodate my bride Jan for a custom fit.
It's a thumb's up car, with a 142 in wheel base, enjoyable and fun car to drive, looking forward to joining the Zimmer registry."
